We love visiting Florida and on each visit we try and do something we haven’t done before, a new activity or a different day trip. Orlando Florida has so many fantastic activities on offer, with new ones popping up all the time, meaning there really is something for everyone.

But there are times when we look for indoor activities to do. On those rainy Florida days, when there’s a thunderstorm passing over or when we just need a break from the heat and venture indoors to make the most of the air con!

Even during the rain, we often plough on with our days of fun across theWalt Disney World Resort,Universal Orlando Resort and the rest of the Orlando theme parks. But even we need some indoor activities at times.

Here are all the fun indoor activities I’ve been able to find around Orlando and across the Central Florida area.

ICON Park

ICON Park is a fantastic destination, situated on International Drive so it’s easily accessible wherever you’re staying in Orlando. It’s not an indoor location but it’s home to many indoor activities – and has plenty of covered parking too. Here are some of the activities on offer at ICON Park:

  • The Wheel – An incredible 400ft tall observation wheel that gives incredible views of Orlando.
  • Madame Tussauds Orlando – Meet dozens of famous faces recreated in wax with so many photo opportunities throughout.
  • SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium – Plunge deep into the oceans, explore a360 degree ocean tunnel, meet a friendly rescue sea turtle and touch exotic sea life.
