The Big Apple is one of the most beautiful and colorful cities in the world, and memories created there linger a fair bit.
I’ve included a couple of cafes and instagrammable restaurants in NYC in this guide, and the rest of the photo spots I’ve chosen are completely free.
That way, if you need to absolutely save money and still want to have fun, you have options to up your Instagram game still!
Most Instagrammable Places in NYC: Dumbo’s Brooklyn Bridge
Whether you’ve been a digital nomad in NYC for a while or visiting the city for the first time, you’ll soon find out that the Brooklyn Bridge is one of the most aesthetic places in New York City.
Super aesthetic, the Instagram-worthy background looks spick and span all dressed in sunset.
Walk your way to the cross-sections of Waters Street and Washington Street, and you’ll be able to snap there the dreamiest NYC spot.
A little tip: since it’s such a buzzing street, if you want to take a picture hassle-free I would suggest arriving as early as possible!

Grand Central Station is one of the most famous landmarks in NYC, and was featured in more shows and movies than you can imagine.
From Gossip Girl to Netflix show Dash & Lily, Grand Central Station is one of New York City’s beating hearts visited every day by thousands of people.
If you want to take pictures of Grand Central Station, I would recommend arriving as early or as late as possible, when there are close to no crowds.
At night is when this beautiful photo spots is illuminated, and the gorgeous interiors will give you the feeling that you’re oh so small in a big, big world.

Most Instagrammable Places in NYC: Nomo SoHo Hotel
The Nomo SoHo hotel is one of the most instagrammable places in NYC inside and out – both the restaurant and the entrance to the hotel are a photographer’s dream.
Bare brick, galleries, boutiques, and some of the cutest bakeries in NYC, that’s what you can find in SoHo.
SoHo, or South of Houston Street, was a really famous neighbourhood in the 70s-80s where a vivid art community blossomed through its colorful brick walls.
Today, SoHo is still one of the prettiest neighborhoods in NYC, and proof is the incredible floral entrance to the Nomo SoHo hotel.
If you find yourself nearby, treat yourself to a little something-something at Nomo Kitchen, a really cute place to eat nearby.

Now, now – welcome to one of the most instagrammable streets in New York City: Stuyvesant Street.
This is actually one of the oldest streets in NYC, and the house located at the corner of Stuyvesant St and 10th St is one of the cutest hidden gems ever.
While the street is really known for its beauty and history, in our social media era, this is also one of the most instagrammable streets in New York City.
You might have spotted it somewhere on your IG feed – there is always someone snapping a picture of the beautiful front building standing right by the light post.

Dream Midtown offers one of the best rooftops in NYC, and from their floral tunnel to the PHD Terrace, you have plenty of photo spots in the hotel.
If you’re a digital nomad or a student, just know there are some really good study cafes in Midtown Manhattan – worth a glance and a sip of colorful latte!
The highlight of the rooftop definitely is the floral tunnel – there are plenty of floral places in NYC, but this is a whole other level.
You can find great deals to book at Dream Midtown that allow you to save over half of the price, but you don’t have to necessarily book to access the rooftop.

Whether you’re visiting New York City in the fall or in winter, Central Park always offers the purest views of the city.
I would recommend using a map with marked waypoints of the places you want to visit, as Central Park is huge.
Inside, you can find secret waterfalls, a public pool, and even a zoo and maybe, just maybe, hiring a bike to cycle lazily around Central Park doesn’t seem like a shabby idea.

Most Instagrammable Places in NYC: Squibb Park Bridge
Bridges in New York City allow for the most magnificent views, and if you are looking for places to see the skyline, I have the perfect bridge for you.
If you walk down the Brooklyn Bridge Park, you will get to Squibb Park Bridge, and with it come unique views of the landmarks that form NYC’s famous skyline.
Much like Central Park, this place absolutely blossoms and is an amazing place to visit in NYC during the fall.

Most Instagrammable Places in NYC: Times Square
This guide wouldn’t be complete if we didn’t include Times Square inside.
If you’re looking for nontouristy things to do in NYC, Times Square is not exactly it, but it is one of the classics of a New York City itinerary.
With major commercials and flashing neon lights, Times Square looks its best at sunset and at night.
A bit of color grading, and you’ve got here the perfect Pinterest picture.
Be careful with your belongings when you’re walking around NYC, though, especially in its beating hearts like Times Square!
