There is a great Berlin flea market culture going on throughout the city and many Flohmärkte or Trödelmärkte can be found in the different Bezirke. It is also a perfect opportunity for a nice stroll on the week-end.

Flohmarkt am Mauerpark
The most famous of all, although not the best nor the oldest one. It is also one of the most international ones. However, the always great atmosphere thanks to the famous Karaoke and the food stands arealso worth a look.
It can be hard to book a spot, so you if you have a few things to get rid of, make sure to book early. (Fee is 7-30€)

Hallenflohmarkt in der Arena
My personal favorite flee market in Berlin. It is a joyful mess and a well kept secret that you can find in the Arena. A ton of vintage radios, lamps, carpets and other items can be found there, with stand owners ready to bargain down the price a little bit. It is one of the few covered flee markets in Berlin, which makes it a perfect destination for rainy days. A fair amount of furniture and rarities can also be found there. Stand available from 10€.

Nowkölln Flowmarkt am Maybachufer
The market on Maybachufer offers a large mix of second-hand and hand-crafted items along with local music and art acts. A few food stands also cater the hungry, in case you have just come out of the Berghain.

Trödelmarkt am Fehrbelliner Platz
You will find here in Wimersdorf several stand owners from Russia, selling a lot of vintage clothes from the 70s and 80s along with cutlleries and small antiques. The near by cafés will be an occasion to discuss the loots of the day. It is possible to book a stand for a 30-50 fee.

Trödel- und Kunstmarkt in der Straße des 17. Juni
The so-called “Original Berlin flee market” takes place around the Tiergarten S-Bahn station. It’s been taking place every week-end since 1973. This apparently the oldest flea market in Berlin. The location around the Charlottenburger Tor makes it a prime location for artists and other professional antiques dealers to show off their unique pieces. Although there is a good amount of usual stuff like old toys, LPs and affordable jewelry, it is however not so much the place to find a good deal. Rent a stand for around 40€.

Flohmarkt am Boxhagener Platz
In the middle of the beloved Friedrischain, a flea market in Berlin offering a mix of amateur and professional sellers. The “Boxhi” flee market is well-reknowed attracts tourists and locals alike for a nice stroll and the occasional negotiation joust.

Flohmarkt am Rathaus Schöneberg
Every week-end, the flea market takes over the square in front the Schöneberg city hall. If you are looking for cutleries, small furniture and accessories, that’s the right place.
It’S possible to rent a stand for about 35€. It is recommended to come a bit later to find the real bargains in typical “1€ for everything” fashion.

The people of Steglitz have apparently also a lot to sell in this relatively smaller market where you find all the Kitsch items you want. Its small size makes it quite the relaxing destination under the trees. Come early to snatch the best pieces of household items like porcelain pots, silver cutleries or furniture.
